CIPHI Alberta

Mission:

The mission of the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI) is to advance the profession, science and the field of environmental public health through certification, advocacy, education and setting standards. We protect the health of Canadians and represent environmental public health professionals across Canada.

The Alberta Branch is one of the provincial chapters of CIPHI and is the only association that specifically represents the interests of Public Health Inspectors, Environmental Health Officers, and other allied Environmental Public Health professionals in the province of Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

Environmental Public Health Professionals deal with the association between the physical environment and human health and are valuable resource in protecting and promoting health through monitoring and, where necessary, controlling the environmental factors that affect health.
